£250 prize for smallholding photo
A WILTSHIRE smallholding supplier hopes budding photographers will submit a front page picture for its 2011 autumn/winter catalogue to be in with a chance to win £250 worth of products.
Malmesbury-based Ascott Smallholding Suppliers, which provides everything the smallholder might need to succeed, is running the competition from June 1 until July 15, 2011.
Mark Self, Managing Director of Ascott Smallholding Suppliers, said: “We wanted a new picture for our autumn catalogue and thought it would be a good idea to hold a competition to find out people’s perception of the season.
“It’d be great to have views from a smallholding, although we appreciate the land might not be looking very autumnal at the moment.
“The spring catalogue highlighted lambs and calves being born, so for the autumn one, the focus could be harvesting and people may have to mock something up.”
To submit a picture, please send it to sales@ascott.biz with your name, address and contact number. All pictures need to be high resolution, 300dpi or more, more than 1MB in size and in a portrait style. The deadline for submitting photographs is 5.30pm on Friday, July 15.
The winner will receive £250 of Ascott Smallholding Suppliers products of their choice.
